Forest Movement
I took this photo at Kings Gap State Park in central Pennsylvania a few weeks ago. I planned on taking some interesting shots of fall leaves but I quickly realized that it's very difficult to get a type of image you haven't seen before.
So I experimented with some techniques to get the limited color of the leaves to pop more. I'm not sure if the end result is interesting or just gimmicky but at the very least it's different. It seems to have the look of what you would see if you were running through the woods.
In case you didn't figure it out, I used a longer exposure and zoomed the lens in while the shutter was open. This blurs everything except the very center of the image where the light travels the same distance.
Canon 5D, 24-70 f/2.8L
@40 mm (to start), f/13.0, shutter-1/20 sec, ISO-100
