Rolling Hills

To get the full effect of this photo click on it to blow it up larger
Then you should be able to see the wind power fans better and
may even recognize the black spots as cows. I took this in
California (I think a few hours south of San Francisco).

Regarding your question on joephotos.net - the background isn't manipulated in any way. I took this picture at a coffeehouse and the background is the daylight outsite.

I really like the colors of this picture. Nice contrast between cloudless sky and green hills.
And I always thought the hills in southern California were scorched and brown...

From my limited time in California so far I think that these hills were green because the photo was taken in December when more rain has fallen.

Right now the hills are pretty dry and brownish.

Interesting picture, and nice. I'd work it a bit with Photoshop to enhance the silouette of the mills, which are barely visible in the small pic.
