Abstract: guess what
An experimental shot of mine. I tried to use the camera to create a pattern of light and color that isn't easily identified as something you normally see.
I figured that rather than reveal what it is right away I would take your guesses. I didn't use photoshop or any other altering, what you see is what I saw in the viewfinder.
So feel free to guess in the comments section and i'll post the answer a little later (I'll be very surprised if anyone gets this one).

Is it your desk lamp? But whatever it is, it is a pleasing colorful image!
Cool shot, but I have no idea what it is.
And the answer is...
The black is the outer rim of my black desk lamp, the red is my bright red ikea table and the yellow/orange circles are the light reflected from the desk lamp. It was basically a shot of my desk lamp and the light it cast on the table.(So I guess Robyn wins).
Good guesses though, it doesn't really look like much of anything.
beautiful colors - i guess i guessed too late because the answer is already there.
I'm late for the guess, but it struck me as an image of the sun ... although the red sky threw me.
Thanks for the comments.
I'll remember to wait a full day before posting the answer next time.
I never would have guessed that. I was thinking it was a part of a car hood. Very cool.
Sorry I've been away from the blog so long.
Verification - hwbpp
Pretty cool - was too late for my guess - I would have said a sun-set...I would have been way off lol...
Looks like 3-D generated art.
I think I like the responses better than the original photo, very creative.
I've got to think of a new abstract...
Anna,
I figured it looked experimental so I went with it.
It was either this one or the penny drop one, reminds that I should experiment more.
Thanks for the comment
