Flags in a row


I took this photo in the grounds of the Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans memorial near Penn's Landing earlier this year.
I realize this photo is a bit overexposed but I like the overall look of the image. I used a shallow depth of field to focus on just one of the flags and so the remainder of the flags appear very soft. As you can probably make out, the flags were placed along the entire walkway.

Canon 20D, 24-85mm, 3.5-4.5, AV 3.0

Sometimes I think that photos that don't have perfect technique are interesting because they make you look at the subject differently.
