Golden Gate bridge
This is a photo of the most photographed thing in the world, the Golden Gate bridge. I took this picuture of one of the two main towers on an especially foggy day.
I like how the extreme angle focuses your eyes on the architecture and the details.
I thought this angle would use the fog to my advantage by exagerating the height of the towers.

Interesting view with good details, have you tried it with a more directional light or one with a more dramatic sky?

Thanks for the comments
I have actually only been able to take photos of the bridge on two seperate days (one is in the archives). The one day it was perfectly sunny and this day it was very overcast.
I'll make my way back sometime soon.
A very good picture. I am astounded by the details in fact.
Really nice. Definitely an interesting angle. Like how you have only captured the the pillar and nothing else.
Thanks for the comments.
I thought about using black and white but I thought the distinctive color of the bridge would be lost.
Thanks for the comments.
I always try to take an angle or perspective that is uncommon. It is more challenging and rewarding when it is a very common or well known thing like the Golden Gate Bridge.
Unique image of a well known landmark.
Beautiful - I love rivets!
Thanks for the comments, I'm motivated to go back to the bridge now.
From the SF Gate.
Where ppl have jumped from the GGB

Yikes Mona.
from that website that means that around 30 people committed suicide from where I took the photo.
Everything has its darkside.
Great perspective on the bridge, taken from a nontraditional angle.
Thanks for the comment,
Someday I'd like to take a top down shot from a helicopter. I'm not sure if they have helicopter tours of the bridge though.
