Robyn
This is a photo of my girlfriend Robyn while we waited for a cab outside a casino in Las Vegas.
I like the contrast between the the brightness in the foreground and the plain background.
The composition works because the elevated angle condenses the different elements well.
We'll see if Robyn comments on this photo.

I do like the vantage point. Her glowing skin is beautiful.
btw, I grew up in B'ham and went to AU.
This "girlfriend" of yours did u need to pay by the hour or how did it work? Just kidding, good photo dude, and what are the dates she'll be out there?
deb- We actually had a great time in Vegas, but the shuttles do run pretty slowly.
mona-thanks, and Roll Tide!
Ian-thanks, We'll both be in CA Jan 1-Jan 7
Hi Ahamed, I really like the warm tone of the sun in this picture.
Great angle, really like that and the color too! I hope Robyn likes it but so far she's a "no show", hey?
Peace...........
Tom- Thanks, I don't know if it was the fact that it was Vegas or just the position of the sun but that sunlight really was great.
Helen-I did talk to her about the post, she does like the photo so she is probably just lazy.
Thanks for the comments
warm light toward her shoulder is gorgeous...
I feel like a celebrity! ;) I'm glad you picked an interesting photo for my internet debut. I love the lighting - at that time right before sunset when the sun turns everything golden.
In am not commenting on a particular photo, they are all so far beyond my own abilty that I am not worthy of an opinion.
I was wondering on your policy of someone using one of your photos on their blog.
Will you please email with your views.I do not wish to use one,and then be accused of pledgerism or worse.
Thanks again for the compliments and free at last, I've sent you an email.
fuzz,
Thanks for the compliments.
I guess I should list what equipment I used.
For this one I used a 3.2 MP Canon Elph camera.
I've used a 20D with various lenses and a Nikon Coolpix 5400 also.
Nice magic hour light. As far as equipment goes, if you don't think it's important, than it's not.
Auf wiedersehen.
I like that description "magic hour", very true, a lot of my best shots happen then.
I think equipment is important to a point but that creativity and skill can overcome technical limitations.
She's cute!
