Tree and shadows
Interesting shot I took a few weeks ago on campus. The sun was close to setting so the shadows were really long and distinct. I like how the shadows of the trees look on the stairs and the look of the leaf shadows in and around the arches.I tried taking this in black and white but the glow from the off white stairs wasn't as strong then. Also I think the green in the leaves helps seperate them from the shadows better.

it looks like your campus has some nice arcitecture, do you have any shots of that?
The photo works, but I think it's missing some life. A person sitting on the steps reading would really complete the image. By the way, all my stuff is packed so once I get the car looked at i'll be heading west. Also give me Robyn's adress so I can send the photo.

Manda- I've taken a few more shots on campus but to be honest a lot of the buildings are newer and pretty dull looking.
Ian-I agree that a person sitting on the stairs would add to it but there was nobody on campus at the time (Thanksgiving day). And I told Robyn to email you.
