Tree and shadows

Interesting shot I took a few weeks ago on campus. The sun was close to setting so the shadows were really long and distinct. I like how the shadows of the trees look on the stairs and the look of the leaf shadows in and around the arches.
I tried taking this in black and white but the glow from the off white stairs wasn't as strong then. Also I think the green in the leaves helps seperate them from the shadows better.

The photo works, but I think it's missing some life. A person sitting on the steps reading would really complete the image. By the way, all my stuff is packed so once I get the car looked at i'll be heading west. Also give me Robyn's adress so I can send the photo.
Peace
Ian

Thanks very much for the comments. I appreciate it.

Manda- I've taken a few more shots on campus but to be honest a lot of the buildings are newer and pretty dull looking.

Ian-I agree that a person sitting on the stairs would add to it but there was nobody on campus at the time (Thanksgiving day). And I told Robyn to email you.

Thanks for the comments, the glow from this photo really surprised me. It's almost more than what was acutally there.
